2014-2025 - Acquisitions

In 2014 Connecticut Saw & Tool acquired Third Avenue Grinding Service of Brooklyn, New York. Third Avenue Grinding Service was founded in 1914. Then in 2017 American Sharpening Service of Warwick, RI was acquired, which had been operating since 1983. In 2020, two more companies were acquired: Northeast Saw & Carbide Tool Co. of Manchester, NH and Quality Saw & Knife of Babylon, NY. January of 2025 saw the expansion of profile knife grinding services and moulder tooling offerings with the acquisition of ILMA-US.
